WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP US STAY SAFE

  1. KEEP YOUR SOFTWARE UPDATED, even if it means multiple restarts of your computer.
  2. DON’T SHARE your passwords.
  3. DON’T CLICK on links in your e-mail.
  4. DON’T PROVIDE alternative e-mail.
  5. DON’T SHARE any personal, confidential, or sensitive information by e-mail.
  6. DON’T STORE any confidential or sensitive information on your computer.
  7. When shopping, USE A VIRTUAL CREDIT CARD OR USE ONLINE PAYMENT APPS (PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Wallet).

IF YOU SUSPECT YOU’VE BECOME A VICTIM OF AN ONLINE SCAM, OR THINK YOU MIGHT HAVE MALWARE OR VIRUS ON YOUR COMPUTER, PLEASE REPORT IT TO THE BROOKLYN COLLEGE NETWORK SUPPORT AT INFOSEC@BROOKLYN.CUNY.EDU OR CALL ITS AT 5861.
